An elegant entrance hall leads you to the living room of your spectacular oceanfront tenth floor corner two-bedroom suite. Lovingly furnished in Contemporary Pacific Rim style, this spacious unit of 1450 square feet features a beautiful and fully-equipped kitchen with everything needed either to dabble in cooking or prepare full meals for the family. The large granite serving area and comfortable seating for six at the unique dining table made of a trunk of lychee wood is perfect for entertaining or just serving your own romantic dinner.
Mahana 1009 has two master bedrooms, each with its own luxurious bathroom. The magnificent burled king size bed from Bali with a lush pillow top mattress provides the most luxurious sleeping Maui has to offer. The second master bedroom is distinctively decorated with cool and serene green and black. A wall of windows in the bedroom provides a breathtaking view of the magnificent Maui mountains.
The comfortable living room couch includes a queen sofa bed, though many guests, including our adult children, have found it simpler and more comfortable to make up one or both sides of the L-shaped sofa into single beds, rather than pulling out the sleep sofa each night. The bedding is conveniently located in the cabinet in the hall.
At the end of a quiet road, the Mahana offers serenity not found in the frenetic hotels at the other end of Ka'anapali Beach and yet it is still convenient to extraordinary dining, shopping, and activities. The resort blends seclusion with the convenience of being right down the street from the best grocery store in the area, Times Market, a snorkel shop, delicatessen, Mexican Restaurant, real estate office, coffee shop, make-your-own-pancakes restaurant, therapeutic massage, fish market, sub shop, Italian restaurant, fishing and tackle shop, and much more.
The Mahana is direct oceanfront, offering breathtaking views up and down uncrowded North Ka'anapali Beach in West Maui and across the gorgeous Pacific to the islands of Lana'i and Moloka'i - you are only about 40 feet from the ocean! The weather systems over the two islands create amazing sunsets you can enjoy from your lanai each evening. You will revel in the quiet luxury of the Mahana and yet still appreciate its proximity to restaurants, shops, and activities.
During humpback whale season you can sit on your large lanai and feast on the natural show right in front of you.
You are just two miles from Whalers Village where you can shop, enjoy meals at first-class restaurants, or just go out for a night on the town.
For those who love to walk along the beach, the Mahana is perfect. You have the choice of walking about two miles to the Sheraton at Black Rock either along the beach or on the boardwalk. You can then continue your walk to Whaler's Village and then on to the Hyatt at the far end of the boardwalk. Along the way, you will pass wonderful oceanfront restaurants including world-famous Duke's and also Castaway's. Walking from the Mahana in the other direction, north, you have two oceanfront cafes within five minutes, one at the Ka'anapali Beach Club and also at Ka'anapali Shores. If you want to drive, you are just two miles from Whalers Village and four miles from Lahaina where you can shop, enjoy meals at first-class restaurants, or just go out for a night on the town.
There is great snorkeling right in front of the resort, plus an oceanfront pool, hot tub, shuffleboard court, and BBQ grills that are cleaned daily.
The Mahana has four championship golf courses nearby and easy access to the Challenge at Manele on the island of Lana'i from the Lahaina Pier via the Expeditions ferry.
Before you make a reservation, please recognize that I book our units back-to-back where guests arrive in the afternoon of the morning other guests depart. If a guest chooses dates that are not back-to-back, then please leave a seven-night space between bookings since that is what most people request, though I will sometimes accept 5. For example, please do not book 4 nights in the middle of 7 open nights, leave one or two days open at one end of your reservation, or book just 2 or 3 nights unless you ask me first. PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BOOKING. There are certainly times where I will take a reservation with a small gap, but I would like to discuss this with you first. Our cleaners have asked us not to take reservations with arrivals on New Year's, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas.
I will provide a full refund up to 60 days prior to your arrival for any reason.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
